Butterfly Valve Seal

A butterfly valve seal (also referred to as a valve seat or sealing ring) is the critical component that ensures tight shut-off between the rotating disc and the valve body. Unlike standard O-rings or gaskets, butterfly valve seals must accommodate the rotational motion of the disc while maintaining a leak-tight seal across a wide range of pressures and temperatures. They are designed to engage the peripheral sealing surface of the disc when the valve is closed, effectively blocking the fluid path

3. Types of Butterfly Valve Seals We Manufacture

Concentric (rubber-lined) valve seals – The most common type; elastomeric seals that mate with a rubber-lined valve body. Produced via injection or compression molding.

High-performance (PTFE) valve seals – PTFE seals with metal reinforcement or spring-energized designs for higher pressure ratings and corrosive service.

Triple-offset valve seals – Sandwich-construction seals combining graphite and metal layers for extreme temperatures and critical isolation services.
