SIL silicone rubber O-ring:
Excellent heat resistance, cold resistance, ozone resistance, and atmospheric aging resistance. Has very good insulation properties. However, the tensile strength is lower than that of ordinary rubber and it is not resistant to oil.
Suitable for household appliances such as electric water heaters, electric irons, and microwave ovens. It is also suitable for various products that come into contact with the human body, such as water bottles, drinking fountains, etc. Not recommended for use with most concentrated solvents, oils, concentrated acids and sodium hydroxide. The general temperature range is -55℃~250℃.
VITON fluorine rubber O-ring:
It has better high temperature resistance than silicone rubber and has excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance and chemical resistance, but poor cold resistance. Resistant to most oils and solvents, especially acids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, and animal and vegetable oils.
Sealing requirements for diesel engines, fuel systems and chemical plants. The use of low molecular weight in ketones, esters and mixtures containing nitrates is not recommended. The general temperature range is -20℃~250℃. (Note: oil resistant, acid and alkali resistant, none)
FLS silicone rubber O-ring: It has the advantages of both fluorine rubber and silicone rubber, and has good oil resistance, solvent resistance, fuel resistance and high and low temperature resistance. Resistant to erosion by oxygenated compounds, aromatic solvents and chlorinated solvents.
Generally used in aviation, aerospace and military fields. Contact with ketones and brake fluid is not recommended. The general temperature range is -50℃~200℃.
EPDM EPDM rubber O-ring:
It has good weather resistance, ozone resistance, water resistance and chemical resistance. It can be used for alcohols and ketones, and can also be used for sealing high-temperature water vapor environments.
Suitable for bathroom equipment, car radiators, and car braking systems. Not recommended for use with food or in contact with mineral oils. The general temperature range is -55℃~150℃. (Note: Not resistant to oil, acid, and alkali)
