Brazil Makes Third Anti-dumping Sunset Review Preliminary Ruling On Chinese Automobile Tires

On February 13, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil (Ministériodo Desenvolvimento, Indústria, Comércio e Serviços/Secretaria de Comércio Exterior) issued Announcement No. 11 of 2025, making the third anti-dumping sunset review affirmative preliminary ruling on automobile tires originating in China (Portuguese: pneus novos de borracha para automóveis de passageiros). It is preliminarily determined that if the current anti-dumping measures are cancelled, the dumping and damage of the products involved may continue or reoccur. It is recommended to continue the investigation of the products involved. During the investigation of the case, the current anti-dumping measures will remain in effect. The products involved are 65 and 70 series automobile tires with rim sizes of 13 inches and 14 inches, tire widths of 165 mm, 175 mm and 185 mm, involving products under Mercosur tariff number 4011.10.00. The deadline for completing the investigation into this case will be extended by up to two months from May 25, 2025.
