Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) is our primary recommendation for applications involving exposure to petroleum-based fluids. NBR offers superior resistance to oils, greases, and hydraulic fluids, making it the industry standard for CV joint boots, shock absorber dust covers, and steering gear boots. Our NBR compounds are formulated to withstand continuous operating temperatures from -40°C to +120°C, with specialized formulations available for extended ranges. The material also provides excellent abrasion resistance and mechanical strength, ensuring the boot survives the constant flexing and vibration inherent in dynamic applications.

Our production utilizes both compression and transfer molding processes, selected based on the complexity and volume of your requirements. For high-volume automotive components, we employ transfer molding to achieve tighter dimensional tolerances and cleaner parting lines. The process begins with precise compound mixing, where we control the durometer (typically 40-80 Shore A) and tensile properties to match your application's mechanical demands.

Each mold is custom-machined from steel with optimized venting systems to prevent air traps and ensure complete cavity fill. This attention to mold design eliminates weak points and flash, reducing the need for secondary trimming operations. For reinforced boots, we integrate fabric or metal inserts directly during the molding process, creating a permanent bond that prevents separation under load.
