Dimensional Control and Quality Verification
Rubber is a viscoelastic material, meaning it exhibits both elastic and viscous behavior, and it naturally undergoes dimensional changes during and after curing. Our manufacturing process accounts for this through precise shrinkage calculations during tool design. Finished bushings are measured using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and optical comparators to verify critical dimensions, including inner and outer diameters, length, and concentricity. We also perform routine durometer testing, tensile testing, and compression set evaluations to ensure the material meets the specified physical properties.
For mainstream passenger cars and general road vehicles, we adopt high-performance natural rubber (NR) compounds featuring excellent resilience, low compression set and strong fatigue resistance, which can keep stable elasticity after millions of times of cyclic extrusion and torsion. For vehicles running in high-temperature, oily or severe cold environments, we apply EPDM rubber formulas with improved ageing resistance and weather resistance to prevent rubber cracking, hardening or softening failure caused by extreme temperatures.
All inner and outer metal sleeves use seamless carbon steel with uniform wall thickness. Before vulcanization bonding, metal surfaces go through comprehensive sandblasting and chemical adhesive treatment. This pretreatment process eliminates surface oil and oxide layers fundamentally, ensuring permanent chemical bonding between rubber and metal instead of simple physical fitting, so as to avoid rubber separation from metal sleeves during long-term chassis movement.
Standard Manufacturing Process
All customized suspension rubber bushings are produced following unified factory process specifications, with traceable production records for each batch to ensure consistent quality of bulk orders. The whole production flow is divided into six fixed links:
Formula mixing: Automatic rubber mixing equipment mixes raw rubber, carbon black, anti-ageing agents and vulcanizing agents according to customized formulas, ensuring uniform material hardness and performance of every rubber batch.
Metal pretreatment: Sandblasting, cleaning and adhesive coating for steel sleeves to enhance rubber-metal bonding strength.

Flash trimming and deburring: Manual and mechanical combined trimming to remove excess rubber edges without damaging the overall rubber structure.

Batch performance testing: Sampling inspection before warehouse outbound.
