Turkey Continues To Impose Anti-dumping Duties On Rubber Imported From China

Recently, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2024/23, making the third sunset review of anti-dumping affirmative final ruling on vulcanized rubber conveyor belts originating from China, India and Vietnam, and decided to maintain the anti-dumping duties determined in Announcement No. 2018/35 unchanged, and continue to impose an anti-dumping duty of US$3.15/kg on the products involved in the case from China, India and Vietnam. The products involved include vulcanized rubber conveyor belts with a circumference of 60 cm to 180 cm (inclusive), 180 cm to 240 cm (inclusive) and a trapezoidal cross-section (except V-shaped grooves) of unlimited length. The Turkish tax numbers of the products involved are 4010.32.00.00.00, 4010.34.00.00.00 and 4010.39.00.00.00. The announcement will take effect from the date of publication and will be valid for five years.

 

On May 13, 2006, Turkey initiated an anti-dumping investigation on vulcanized rubber conveyor belts originating from China, India and Vietnam. On March 31, 2007, Turkey began to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the case from the above-mentioned countries. Since then, Turkey has conducted two sunset reviews, on March 15, 2013 and October 16, 2018 (see Announcement No. 2018/35), and made affirmative rulings and extended the tax period. On October 7, 2023, Turkey initiated the third sunset review of anti-dumping on vulcanized rubber conveyor belts originating from China, India and Vietnam.
