Lanzhou Petrochemical successfully commissioned its 2,000-ton-per-year specialty nitrile rubber unit on the first attempt; capable of producing differentiated products-such as high-acrylonitrile and carboxyl-modified grades-that outperform general-purpose rubber, the facility is poised to alleviate supply bottlenecks in the high-end market. Additionally, the 1,000-ton-per-year hydrogenated nitrile rubber project has successfully reached mechanical completion, signaling a breakthrough in core technology that will help extend and strengthen the rubber industry chain.
