Plastic Extruded Parts Industry

Leave a message

Plastic extruded parts are manufactured through a high-efficiency process in which raw plastic material is melted by heat and then continuously extruded through a die with a specific cross-sectional profile.

Key processing steps include: Raw material feeding-plastic pellets or powder enter the extruder barrel from a hopper. Heating and melting-a rotating screw advances the material, transforming the plastic into a uniform melt through external barrel heating and shear friction.

Die extrusion-the melt passes through a die opening of a specific shape to form a continuous profile. Cooling and shaping-the hot extruded profile is cooled and solidified via a water bath or sizing sleeve. Cutting and winding-the finished product is automatically cut to a set length or wound onto a reel.
