Ivory Coast's Rubber Exports in The First Seven Months Fell 4.5% Year-on-year

The latest data shows that in the first seven months of 2024, Ivory Coast's rubber exports totaled 794,831 tons, down 4.5% from 832,556 tons in the same period of 2023.

Looking at the July data alone, exports fell 20.6% year-on-year and increased 37.1% month-on-month.

Ivory Coast is an important natural rubber producer in Africa. In recent years, Ivory Coast's rubber exports have increased year by year, as farmers have switched their crops from cocoa to rubber due to stable income.
