Regional and End-Use Markets: Germany Rebounds; Automotive Sector Warms Up
Each year, ERJ asks respondents to rate market growth prospects (with 5 indicating high growth and 1 indicating a decline). This year, the average confidence score across all regions rose to 2.60-significantly higher than the previous year's 2.28 and even slightly above the 2.53 recorded the year before that.
Regionally, Germany-a traditional powerhouse-rebounded after two consecutive years of decline, achieving a score of 2.73. Italy, Poland, and the UK also performed well, while Turkey and Sweden showed signs of weakening, and France and Spain remained largely flat. Outside Europe, the US, Mexico, and Brazil, as well as Egypt and the UAE in the Middle East, all received strong growth ratings.
