In the first five months, the total import and export volume of synthetic rubber in China achieved year-on-year growth, with the main imported rubber types being styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), butyl rubber (IIR), and butadiene rubber (BR).
From January to May, China imported 587000 tons of main synthetic rubber, a year-on-year increase of 13%. Among the main types of rubber, the top three products with large import volumes in China are SBR, IIR, and BR, accounting for about 70% of the total import volume.
From January to May, China exported a total of 345000 tons of synthetic rubber, a year-on-year increase of 30%. Among the main types of rubber, the top three products with high export volume in China are BR, SBR, and IIR, accounting for about 70% of the total export volume.
In addition, from January to May, China imported a total of 103000 tons of synthetic latex, a year-on-year increase of 16%; 22000 tons of imported composite rubber, a year-on-year increase of 13%; The total import of natural rubber and synthetic rubber mixture was 1.257 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 26%.
