The production process and key technologies of rubber products
Mixing process: Mix the raw rubber with fillers (carbon black, silica), vulcanizing agents, antioxidants, etc. evenly. The core is the dispersibility, which directly affects the physical properties of the products (such as wear resistance, strength).
Molding process: Use methods such as calendering, extrusion, or compression molding to turn the mixed rubber into semi-finished products (such as tread, sidewall, sealing ring), with high precision requirements (especially for tires, which need micrometer-level tolerance for the mold).
Vulcanization process: Through heating and pressurization, the rubber molecules cross-link to form a network structure, which is the key step for rubber products to "become harder and gain elasticity", and requires precise control of temperature, time, and pressure to avoid under-vulcanization (insufficient performance) or over-vulcanization (aging and brittleness).
Post-processing process: Includes testing (gas tightness, strength tests), trimming, packaging. Tires also need to undergo balancing and dynamic balancing adjustment to ensure driving stability.
