The objectives of rubber-plastic blending are:

Leave a message

(1) To achieve complementary properties, retaining the respective advantages of both rubber and plastic while compensating for their individual shortcomings;
(2) To reduce costs by leveraging price differences between the two materials;
(3) To facilitate processing; rubber generally has poorer processability than plastic, but blending it with certain plastics can significantly improve flowability and reduce energy consumption. Plastics also benefit from blending with rubber, gaining increased elasticity and impact resistance, as well as reduced brittleness and cracking at low temperatures.
