Material Selection and Modifications
While virgin PTFE offers exceptional chemical inertness and dielectric strength, standard PTFE can be susceptible to creep and wear under heavy loads. To address this, we machine rings using a variety of modified compounds based on the specific operating environment. Our inventory includes glass-filled, carbon-filled, bronze-filled, and graphite-modified PTFE. These additives significantly improve the mechanical strength, wear resistance, and thermal conductivity of the final part, making them suitable for demanding dynamic applications such as piston rings, rotary seals, and bearing bushings.
Product Parameters
Polytetrafluoroethylene, PTFE, is a high molecular polymer. Because it has the characteristics of high and low temperature resistance, non-sticking, acid and alkali resistance, it is widely used in chemical machinery, marine testing equipment, anti-adhesive tooling fixtures and other industries.
The Polytetrafluoroethylene sheet is processed by CNC and made into a special fixture. In the lens bonding tooling, it is used as a bottom plate. During use, all kinds of glue will not stick to it, and the remaining glue can be easily removed.
In chemical laboratories, when testing in an acid-base environment, PTFE is very suitable as a material to make parts.
