Detailed Introduction

Silicone Expansion Joints Bellow is a highly flexible connecting element. Its core value lies in utilizing the elasticity of silicone to compensate for displacement of pipes caused by thermal expansion and contraction and vibration, while also providing sealing, shock absorption, and noise reduction functions.

Main Material: Typically made of silicone rubber (VMQ), some industrial applications utilize silicone-coated fiberglass fabric to enhance temperature and pressure resistance. It has an extremely wide operating temperature range; standard silicone is -40°C to 230°C, while high-quality or specialty silicone can reach -75°F to 450°F (approximately -60°C to 232°C).

Corrugated Structure: Through molding, injection, or extrusion, it can be formed into various corrugated shapes such as straight cylinders, spirals, and cones to adapt to different displacement requirements.

Two Mainstream Manufacturing Processes:

Compression Molding: Cost-effective, relatively simple mold structure, suitable for mass production of standard parts and large components.

Liquid Silicone Injection Molding (LSR): Suitable for products with complex structures and high dimensional accuracy requirements. Enables automated demolding, minimizes flash, and can manufacture products with extremely low hardness (e.g., 5 Shore A).
