How to install rubber roof flashing? Step 1: cut to fit Cut to fit the outside diameter marked on flasher which is approximately 20％ smaller than the outside diameter of the pipe) Step 2: slide onto pipe Slide the flashers down the pipe, using water to lubricate if necessary. Step 3: form to roof pitch and roof profile. Step 4: seal the flashers Apply urethane/silicone sealant between the flasher and the roof. Press down the base firmly. Step 5: Fasten Screw installation should be every 1'' to 1-1/2'' around the aluminum base of the flasher. Step 6: enjoy your water tight seal.

Flashers require no special tools or complicated installation methods. The rubber cone is clearly marked with pipe dimensions, in both inches and millimeters, so it can be easily customized with tin snips or scissors.
