Custom Plastic Extrusions in Various Profiles for OEM/Industrial Applications

Each profile is developed based on the customer's application requirements. Key parameters include dimensional tolerances, surface finish, flexibility or rigidity, environmental exposure, assembly method, and end-use function. We review drawings, 3D files, or physical samples to confirm feasibility before tooling is manufactured.

The molten plastic is then forced through a hardened steel die. This die is precision-machined to impart the specific shape required by the client's design. Once the material exits the die, it enters a calibration and cooling stage. This phase is critical for maintaining dimensional stability. Depending on the material and profile complexity, we utilize water bath cooling or vacuum calibration tanks to ensure the part solidifies into its final geometry without warping or distortion. Finally, pullers guide the cooled profile to a cutting mechanism, where it is sized to the required lengths.

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS): This engineering thermoplastic offers a balance of toughness, impact resistance, and surface hardness. ABS extrusions are commonly used in automotive components, electronic housings, and protective bumper guards.

Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE): TPEs bridge the gap between rubbers and plastics. They provide the soft-touch feel and sealing capabilities of rubber but can be processed with the efficiency of plastic extrusion. These materials are ideal for soft seals, grips, and weather-stripping applications.

Polycarbonate (PC) and Acrylic (PMMA): For applications requiring optical clarity and high light transmission, we extrude Polycarbonate and Acrylic profiles. These materials offer high impact resistance (in the case of PC) and excellent weatherability, suitable for lighting diffusers, glazing bars, and protective shields.

Extrusion tooling is manufactured according to the approved profile drawing. Tool design affects dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and production stability. We control critical dimensions based on customer requirements and the capabilities of the selected material and profile geometry.

Dimensional inspection is carried out using calibrated measurement equipment. For complex profiles, we verify key dimensions, wall thickness, straightness, and surface condition. If the customer requires specific tolerance standards, we confirm the achievable range before production begins.

Custom extrusion profiles are not limited to simple geometric shapes. We can produce profiles with multiple walls, internal chambers, snap-fit features, grooves, ribs, co-extruded layers, and integrated sealing lips. The profile design is developed with consideration for extrusion stability, cooling behavior, dimensional control, and end-use assembly.
