A Grommet is a ‘ring’ inserted into a hole through material. They are flared or collared on each side to keep them in place. There are 3 types; Open to protect cables or pipes passing through them; Blind for blanking holes in panels or Semi-Blind which has a membrane thick enough to be used as a Blind Grommet but thin enough to be punctured to suit.
