Material Properties and Performance
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is a synthetic rubber known for its strong resistance to ozone, UV radiation, and weathering. Unlike natural rubber or SBR, EPDM does not degrade quickly when exposed to sunlight or outdoor conditions. It maintains flexibility and structural integrity over a wide temperature range, operating continuously from -40°C to +100°C, with short-term tolerance up to +120°C. The material also resists water, steam, and mild chemical exposure, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Its aging resistance ensures that cushion pads retain their mechanical properties over years of service, reducing the need for frequent replacement.
Customization Options

Manufacturing Process

For molded pads, the material is placed into precision molds and cured under heat and pressure in compression or transfer molding presses. Continuous vulcanization lines are used for long strips or profiles. After curing, parts are trimmed, inspected, and packaged.
