EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer): When water is the primary medium, especially hot water or steam, EPDM is our go-to recommendation. Manufactured to resist degradation from ozone, weathering, and polar fluids, our EPDM gaskets are ideal for cooling systems and boiler feed pumps. They maintain their elasticity and sealing force even when exposed to temperatures ranging from -40°C to +150°C. If your application involves phosphate ester-based hydraulic fluids or mild chemicals, our custom EPDM blends provide a robust barrier against leakage.

NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber): For pumps that handle oils, fuels, and hydrocarbons, NBR is the industry standard for resistance. In our facility, we fine-tune the acrylonitrile (ACN) content to balance flexibility against oil resistance. A higher ACN content offers superior resistance to oil and fuel permeation, making these gaskets perfect for automotive water pumps or industrial machinery where oil contamination is a risk. While NBR has a slightly lower heat resistance compared to EPDM (typically up to 120°C), its tensile strength and abrasion resistance are exceptional, ensuring the gasket survives the rigors of installation and operation.

NR (Natural Rubber): Sometimes, the simplest solution is the most effective. For applications requiring high elasticity, low heat buildup, and excellent mechanical properties, Natural Rubber is unmatched. We source high-grade NR to produce gaskets that offer superior resilience and vibration damping. These are particularly effective in low-pressure water transfer systems where flexibility is key to maintaining a seal on uneven flange surfaces. NR also boasts excellent resistance to non-polar solvents, making it a versatile choice for general-purpose pumping applications.
