EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is our material of choice for water sealing due to its exceptional resistance to water, steam, and weathering. Whether the application involves potable water systems, industrial cooling towers, or outdoor plumbing, EPDM maintains its elasticity and sealing integrity over a wide temperature range, typically from -50°C to +150°C. Our factory-direct model means we have complete control over the entire manufacturing process. It starts with material compounding. We formulate our EPDM compounds in-house to ensure consistent hardness, typically between 40 and 80 Shore A, and optimal compression set properties. This ensures the gasket can withstand continuous pressure without permanently deforming, which is critical for maintaining a watertight seal over years of service.

Precision molding is at the heart of our production. Using advanced compression and transfer molding presses, we manufacture gaskets with tight dimensional tolerances, often as precise as ±0.05mm. This level of accuracy is essential for ensuring a perfect fit in the designated gland or flange. Our in-house tooling department allows us to design and fabricate custom molds quickly, facilitating rapid prototyping and short lead times for both small batches and large-volume production runs.

Every gasket that leaves our facility undergoes strict quality control. We test for critical parameters such as tensile strength, elongation at break, and compression set. For water sealing applications, we also verify that the material meets relevant standards for potable water contact, such as FDA or NSF/ANSI 61, when required.
